Internship Opportunities
Possessing a college degree is no guarantee you will secure the job you want. In fact, in addition to a college degree, most employers desire candidates with relevant work experience in their specific field. This experience can be obtained in the form of an internship. It is strongly encouraged by the Film and Visual Culture that junior and senior students complete at least one internship during their academic career. As internship opportunities become available through the Film and Visual Culture Program, they will be posted on the bulletin board located outside of the office adjacent to the History Department. If students are unable to drop by the office to look at the positions posted on the bulletin board, please click on the link to view the internship opportunities. Career Counselors, at the Career Center are available to help you with resumes, mock interviews, and researching internship opportunities. You may come for a 10-minutes drop-in session or make an appointment with a career counselor. To schedule an appointment with a career counselor, call the Career Center at (951) 827-3631. Drop-in hours are: Monday–Friday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. |
